Microblading Policies

—- Please Read Carefully Before Making an Appointment —-

1. All deposits made for microblading are nonrefundable. A deposit is required at the time of booking for every microblading session. This deposit will count toward the final cost of your session. We require a deposit to ensure that you are serious about booking your appointment and to protect our artist’s time. Should you decide to reschedule your appointment, we require 48 hours of notice. If you choose to cancel your appointment for any reason, you will forfeit the entire deposit. If you do not show up for your appointment, you will automatically forfeit your deposit. If you wish to book another appointment after a no-show, you will be required to pay the full amount of the service as your deposit. All deposits are nonrefundable.

2. Prior to your appointment, you must follow these medical protocols:

  • 72 hours before your session, do not take any blood thinning medication. This includes but is not limited to Ibuprofen, Aspirin, Vitamin E, Niacin, and fish oil supplements.
  • Discontinue use of all Retinol products on the face for at least 2 weeks prior to your appointment.
  • Do not consume any caffeine the morning of your session and limit caffeine use 48 hours prior.
  • Do not schedule any lash appointments or hair appointments within 2 weeks after your appointment.
  • Do not schedule any injections, facials, massages, or any other service on your face for 4 weeks after your appointment.
  • Make sure that if you have ever taken Accutane, you have not been taking this medication for one entire year before your appointment.
  • Do not drink any alcohol the night before or day of your appointment.
  • If you have any skin condition, contact Wink prior to scheduling an appointment to ensure that we can provide this service to you and/or make any adjustments needed to give you the best experience possible.
  • You should limit sun exposure for at least 2 weeks prior to your appointment (this includes tanning bed exposure).

These are all for YOUR SAFETY AND BENEFIT. Our highest priority is that our clients are as safe as possible, and we also want to be sure that you receive the best possible results. If you have any questions regarding any of the protocols listed above, please call us or email us.

IMPORTANT: If you arrive at your appointment and have not followed the above medical protocols, you MUST reschedule your appointment and your deposit will be FORFEITED. All deposits are nonrefundable.

3. Healed results vary from person to person. Each person’s body is different and can heal in different ways. We absolutely cannot guarantee results. We cannot predict how any client will heal and we have no control during the healing process. The microblading service results in a cosmetic tattoo, and we cannot adjust any client’s cosmetic tattoo until they are fully healed. Healing takes 6-8 weeks from your initial appointment. Additional sessions may be required to achieve optimal results and these sessions will be charged as listed on the Wink website.

4. If you have had previous microblading work, you MUST email us a few clear photos from different angles PRIOR to booking your appointment. Our artists will review your work and make sure we can adjust your previous cosmetic tattoo. If your previous work is too dark, discolored, or large, a removal procedure will be suggested prior to booking a session with us. If you have had work done by a previous artist and are wanting corrective work or a touchup, you will be charged our new client pricing, not touch up pricing. This is because we are unsure of what pigments the previous artist used, tools the previous artist used, technique the previous artist used, etc. Since you are a new client to Wink and we will be redesigning your brows, our new client pricing will apply.
